Typical repair ranges
Most washer and dryer repairs fall between $119 and $285, including parts and labor. Simple fixes (a worn belt, a clogged pump, a thermal fuse) sit at the lower end; control boards and motors at the higher end.
What goes into the price
Two things: the part and the labor. We give a firm, upfront quote on-site before any work begins — no hidden fees, no diagnostic surprises. You decide with the full number in front of you.
Repair vs. replace
A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs less than half the price of a comparable new unit and your appliance is under ~8–10 years old, repair is the smart, greener choice. We'll tell you honestly when replacement makes more sense — even though it means we don't do the repair.
How to keep costs down
Catch problems early (a small leak or odd noise), clean lint traps and filters regularly, and don't overload. Preventative maintenance is far cheaper than an emergency call.
