Dishwasher Repair Across the Wasatch Front

Dishes coming out dirty, water sitting in the bottom, or a puddle spreading across the kitchen floor? A dishwasher that won't drain or won't clean usually comes down to a clog or one failed part, such as the drain pump, wash pump or inlet valve. We service built-in, drawer, and portable dishwashers of every major brand.

What we fix

Common dishwasher problems we solve

Not draining

Standing water after a cycle usually means a clogged filter, a kinked or blocked drain hose, a plugged air gap — or a drain pump that has given up. We clear the whole drain path and replace the pump only if it has actually failed.

Not cleaning dishes

Film, grit, or dishes that come out as dirty as they went in point to a clogged filter, clogged spray arms, a worn wash pump, or a water inlet valve starving the machine. We find which one rather than guessing.

Leaking onto the floor

A puddle at the front is usually the door gasket, a door that isn't latching tight, or suds from hand dish soap used in place of dishwasher detergent. A puddle underneath is usually the pump seal, a split hose, or a cracked sump. We trace it to the source before it reaches your cabinets and subfloor.

Won't start or won't latch

A dishwasher that's dead, or beeps and stops, is often the door latch switch, the touchpad, or the control board. We test the circuit instead of replacing parts on a hunch.

Not drying

Dishes still wet at the end of a cycle? Check the rinse aid first: many machines, Bosch included, dry by condensation and depend on it, and plastics often stay damp on them. If it's topped up, the cause is usually a failed heating element, a stuck vent or vent fan, or a bad high-limit thermostat. We confirm which before replacing anything.

Error codes & stuck cycles

On a Bosch, E24 is a drain fault and E15 means water has collected in the base and tripped the leak sensor. Most dishwasher codes point at the water supply, drainage, or a leak sensor. We read the code, verify it on the machine, and repair the actual cause.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

A little clear water in the sump below the filter is normal on many models; it keeps the pump seals from drying out. Water standing above the filter usually means a drainage problem — a clogged filter or drain hose, a plugged air gap, a knockout plug left in a newly installed disposal, or a failed drain pump. It's often a same-visit fix. Call 801-648-8639 and we'll diagnose it on-site.
If it's under about 8–10 years old, usually yes — pumps, valves, latches and gaskets are affordable parts. If the tub is cracked or the wash motor has failed on an older budget unit, we'll tell you straight that replacement makes more sense.
Yes. We service built-in, drawer, portable and panel-ready dishwashers, including integrated units with custom cabinet fronts — Bosch, Miele, KitchenAid, Thermador, Fisher & Paykel and more.
Yes. Have the code ready when you call and we'll usually know where to start. Most codes point at the water supply, drainage, or a leak sensor. We verify the fault on the machine rather than replacing parts on a guess.
